SUMMER ADVANCED CAMP Advanced and Elite Camp Programs The Advanced and Elite Individualized Basketball Camps are unique programs only offered by Basketball Beyond the Basics. The programs are designed to develop each athlete’s ability through very challenging drills and competitions. Coach Johnson focuses on developing a player’s entire game to include skill development for every position. Instruction is focused on increasing the understanding of how to play the game so players can to maximize their ability. Players participate in challenging drills to enhance their fundamental development, and compete in full court games in order to put into use the skills and philosophies that are emphasized each day. At the conclusion of camp, each player receives a detailed evaluation along with a practice plan for continued improvement. Who: Advanced Camp enrollment is limited to 16 players per session. The Advanced Camp is for experienced Boys and Girls ages 12-15 who are interested in working hard to improve their skills. The program is not for beginners and those interested in attending should be prepared to work hard and be challenged each day. Elite Camp enrollment is limited to 16 players per session. The Elite Camp is for experienced Boys and Girls ages 15-18 who are interested in working hard to improve their skills. The program is for high school players and those interested in attending should be prepared to work hard and be challenged each day. When: The 2007 Advanced and Elite Camp Sessions will be held during the following weeks: Session #1: June 11 – June 15, 2007 (Monday to Friday) 9:00 A.M. – 3:00 P.M. Session #2: June 18 – June 22, 2007 (Monday to Friday) 9:00 A.M. – 3:00 P.M. Session #3: June 25 – June 29, 2007 (Monday to Friday) 9:00 A.M. – 3:00 P.M. Where: Middletown High School, 120 Silver Lake Road, Middletown, DE 19709. Cost: Each week of Advanced or Elite Camp costs $225.00. Players attending multiple weeks will receive a $25 discount for each additional week which represents the cost of their reversible camp jersey.
